Your average about us page has a list of reasons why you should shop from us and why we are better than the rest.  Well that all sounds great but for you as a customer you cant just take our word for it.  So the short version is we are just like you, we live in this culture and we love it.  We get to work with the best type of customers and some amazing American glass artist from all over the world.  Below we have some more info about our company but first here is a little info about the Brothers with Glass crew. 

Jess

One of the founding brothers, grew up in Idaho and moved to Oregon in 2010 to start up Brothers with Glass with his older brother Jake. During the festival season you can find Jess following Dave Mathews Band, Phish, STS9, enjoying some of the finest musical experiences one can get in the great Pacific Northwest with his fiance', dogs and his 1982 VW Westfalia camper bus "Rusty". Frequents Hornings Hideout and local camp spots along the beach in the westie!

Jake

The other founding brother also grew up in Idaho and moved to Oregon in 2010.  Likes to travel with the fam to non-touristy chill spots and experience the outdoors to the fullest.  The West Coast is a playground!  He camps, hikes, plays AirSoft and Bocci ball to get away from it all but he still enjoys all that Portland has to offer, you cant beat our food trucks for the munchies. Good times are to be had at concerts and some personal favorites include Echo Movement, Donavan Frankenreiter, Dirty Heads, Sublime with Rome and Northwest Sons.  He also likes to dip Fritos in yogurt, (try it you'll thank me later)!

Phern

Jake's wife Phern is one of the friendly ladies you get to talk to on the phone and she is also makes sure you get your package on time!  Phern also grew up in Idaho and moved to Oregon in 2010. When not working in the shop she spends time painting and working on other art.  For a short while she was in the famous Portland Saturday Market selling her wares and some of her art makes it on the site from time to time as well.  One of Phern's favorite places to go is Hornings Hideout just outside of Portland, with the relaxed vibe and crazy peacocks running everywhere is also a great spot for inspiration. She's currently has a section in the store Phern Glass which she bakes clay on glass pieces, check em out!

Shellie 

Jess's Fiance Shellie is one of the other friendly ladies that you get to talk to on the phone, she's super helpful and a lil' spicy!  She makes sure our shipments are out on time and ensures you all get what you paid for! If she wasn't so organized we'd be in trouble. Shellie grew up in Michigan, lived in Idaho for a bit with Jess and moved to Oregon in 2010. She chills at the festivals with Jess,  friends and like-minded festies. Also a huge fan of DMB. She's had her cat TJ for 11 years and his nickname is Captain White Boot (he has one white leg that looks like a pirate boot).

Animal Crew;

We also have a few animals in the crew.  Bently, Millie, TJ (Captain White Boot), Rascal and Pluto that consist of a Britney Spaniel,  a (regal) Beagle, Cat and the newest additions are our two Guinea Pigs!

We also work with several artist in Victoria and British Columbia Canada that make our glass including custom exclusive work created just for us.  All of our glass pipes are hand made by skilled artist with many years of experience in producing consistent quality glass pipes.  

Growing tired of hearing stories about how online shops took months to ship, never answered emails and sometimes even shipped the wrong item we decided that with the contacts we have built up over the years, our history of owning businesses in the past we could do much better than most of our competition. American Glass Pipes:  We stock some of the most well know and trusted brands on the market like SYN, ZOB, HVY, ADS, C2 Custom Creations, DC Glass Werx and US Tubes to name a few.  We only stock American glass (with the exception of one blower from Canada) and sell no cheap imports!  Offering up outstanding quality hand pipes from artist from OR, CA, WA, ID, NV, AZ, NY, KY, NC, IL, NH, FL, SC, MI, OH, MN just to name a few.  We hope to have glass from all 50 states at some point!

Quality: All of our artist have to abide by our strict policies on how our products are made and what materials they are made from.  We do not work with artist that use cheap glass.  Most of our pipes are made with American or German made glass.  Not only do we use the most durable high end materials but we also use environmentally friendly methods to ensure we have the least impact on the environment.

Service: This is a family run business and we take great pride in making sure you are taken care of from the moment you make a purchase with us. We are always here to answer questions and make ourselves available to our customers. All emails are answered with 24 hours, excluding weekends and major holidays. Servicing our customers never stops if you have question before, during or after a purchase you can always contact us.

Privacy: We hate spam and I am pretty sure you do to. Under no circumstances will we ever rent, sell or trade any of your information to anyone for any reason at anytime.

Discreet Shipping: All orders are shipped in regular shipping boxs and contain no indication as to the contents. The return shipping label will read BWG to ensure your privacy. In-Stock Items: Unlike a lot of other sites everything we sell is in stock and ready to ship. We do not take your money then have the item made, this is a poor business practice unless its clearly stated up front.
